Why team pages look mismatched
Team photos are rarely shot at once. Some people were photographed in the office, some at home, some last year with a different backdrop. On a team page the differences jump out: one gray background is warmer, one face is brighter, one crop is tighter.
What we match
- Background tone and brightness, or a replacement backdrop for the whole set
- Skin color under different light, kept natural for each person
- Crop, head size and eye line
- Retouch level, so nobody is smoothed more than their colleagues
New hires
We keep the settings for your team on file. When someone joins, send their photo and we'll match it to the page.
Questions
Can you match photos taken on phones?
Often, if the light was decent. Phone photos vary more, so a few may not match perfectly; we'll flag them.
Do you need everyone's consent?
We need you to confirm the people in the photos have agreed to be photographed and published. We don't check each person directly.
Have a set of headshots to finish? Send two or three and tell us the level you want. We edit a test, then the set.
